The submission process for SOAR has an embargo option on the Upload File(s) page. The Embargo will prevent the download of the content from the Item Record until the date has passed. The Embargo date displays to the right of the thumbnail in the item record.
To edit the Embargo date:
- Go to Edit Item
- Select Item Bitstreams
- Click on the item/file you want to change the embargo for
- Brings you to a screen where the embargo date can be edited
- Note that the original file that was input might have an extracted text file and a thumbnail file generated; check them to see if the embargo dates need to be updated on all
