Upcoming Professional Development Opportunities from OLIS and OER Services

  • Research Data Management Training Series and Discussion Group - A series aiming to provide educational resources and a forum for shared experience in Research Data Management across SUNY System, through a flipped-classroom model, pairing speakers and live discussions with specific MOOC modules for additional self-paced learning. (Fall 2023)
  • SUNY OER Summit - A free virtual event dedicated to sharing best practices and insights in the field of Open Educational Resources and Open Pedagogy. (October 11-12, 2023)
  • Leadership and Management Certificate Program - Eight virtual courses to help participants gain a foundation in management and leadership while also providing opportunities to apply this knowledge in library-specific contexts and areas.  (Fall 2023 and Spring 2024)
  • Learning Engineering Fellowship - A six-week virtual program designed for instructional designers who are interested in enhancing their skills and knowledge for learning engineering. (Fall 2023)
