Alma Discovery: Primo VE

You can customize Primo VE using the options in Discovery->Display Configuration->Customize Views, with CSS and JavaScript in the Customization Package, and by editing Labels.

The customization package is where you make changes that can't be done in the Edit View or labels, such as:

• Change the content of the Primo VE landing page (homepage_en.html)
• Change the site's colors, font, etc. via CSS
• Add library chat widget or other tools

You can add, edit, and disable links in the Primo VE header.

This is the way to change any Primo VE content/wording that is not part of the Alma bib record. 

The methodology for changing labels in Alma is:

1. Look for the code of the label you want to change (may need to use "inspect" browser tools) or copy the description text
2. Go to Discovery->Configuration->Display Configuration->Labels and then search for that label’s description or code in the code table, which should bring you to the right place to edit the label.
3. Edit the table to customize the text.
